How to get and show your code

The order page

1. 1After payment the confirmation page opens. If the code is ready, it appears under Your code.
2. 2Use Copy code so you don't have to type it. Hide covers the code when someone else can see your screen, and Show brings it back.
3. 3Below the code you find the short redeem steps and a link to the full guide.

If the page says the code is being prepared, you can close it. We email it as soon as it is ready.

The email with the code

We send an email to the address you entered at checkout, titled “Your code is ready”. It has the order details, the code where the code is allowed in email, the short redeem steps and the View your code button.

Your account and guest orders

• With an account: you find the code under Account › Orders, at any time.
• As a guest: use the link in the email or the confirmation page. To keep the order in an account, sign in and claim the order with its ID. We send a confirmation link to the order's email address.

Keys that come as an image

Some game keys are delivered as a picture of the code, not as text. The order page shows the image blurred; choose Show to see it.

2. 2Choose Download image and save it somewhere safe.
3. 3Type the code from the image where you redeem it. There is no copy button, because the code is part of the picture.

For security, these codes are not put in the email text; the email takes you to the order page.

Delayed delivery and pre-orders

• Delayed delivery: products marked “Delivered within 24 hours” are released by the seller after payment. The code arrives by email within 24 hours at the latest. Your card is charged only when the code arrives.
• Pre-order: most sellers deliver the code on the game's release day. If the code arrives before the release, redeeming it adds the pre-order (see pre-orders).
• Cash on delivery: the code is bought only after the courier has collected the cash, so it arrives after you pay in cash.

In every case you don't need to keep the page open. When the code is ready, you get it by email.

If the code doesn't arrive

1. 1Open the order page and look at the status.
2. 2Check the Spam and Promotions folders.
3. 3For a delayed delivery, wait until the promised deadline (24 hours).
4. 4If it is still missing, write to support with your Order ID.

Keep the code safe

Keep the order page or the email, but don't post the code in public places. See Security.
