Demo environment: payments are simulated with test cards and codes are not real.

How to check your region before you buy

A gift card, game key or subscription works only with an account in the right region. Check your account's region before you pay: once the code has been shown, it can't be returned.

Why the region matters

Every platform ties an account's store, prices and currency to a country or region. A card for region X adds credit only to accounts in region X. What matters is your account's region, not the country you live in or pay from.

Don't create an account with a false country or address

Most platforms forbid this in their terms of use and can block the account, along with the credit or games in it. Buy only the card that matches the region your account already has.

How we ask you to confirm

  1. On the product page, choose the variant with your account's region and the value you need.
  2. Tick the confirmation box (“I confirm my PlayStation account region is Germany.”, with your platform and region). Without it you can't add the item to your cart.
  3. The cart and the checkout show the chosen region again. Check it one more time before you pay.
  • Global: works with accounts in any region. The product page says whether this applies to the platform.
  • EU (European Union): works with accounts registered in an EU country.
  • One country (for example Germany or the USA): works only with accounts registered in that country.

Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia

PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo don't offer Kosovo as an account country. For Albania and North Macedonia, availability differs by platform and can change over time. This is why many players here have accounts registered in another country.

The rule is the same everywhere: buy the card for the region your existing account shows, wherever you live. The platform sets an account's region; we can't change it.

PlayStation (PSN)

  • Where to look: on the web, sign in to PlayStation Account Management and open Your Information; the country is shown with your residential address. In the PlayStation App open the Play tab, then settings (the gear icon) and Account Information.
  • Matching card: a card for the same region, for example a Germany card for a German account.
  • The region doesn't change: a PlayStation account's region is set when the account is created and can't be changed later.
Menu names change with updates. If you can't find them, look for “Account” or “Your Information” in the settings.

Xbox and Microsoft

  • Where to look: sign in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com and open Your info. The account's country or region is shown there. The device region on a console (Settings > System > Language & location) is a separate setting and doesn't set the account's region.
  • Matching card: a card for the same country or region as your Microsoft account.
  • Be careful: you can't change the region if you changed it in the last 3 months or if the account has a balance due. Your wallet balance doesn't move to the new region, and items or subscriptions bought in one region might not work in another. Don't change the region just to match a card.

Steam

  • Where to look: in Steam open your account name (top right) and choose Account details. The store country is shown there. Your wallet uses that country's currency.
  • Matching card: a Steam Wallet code works with a wallet in the same currency. For euro cards, the wallet must be in euros (EUR).
  • Game keys: some Steam keys have regional restrictions. The product page lists them.

Nintendo

  • Where to look: sign in to your Nintendo Account (accounts.nintendo.com) and open the profile details; the account's country or region is shown there. The Nintendo eShop on the console follows the country of the account linked to the user.
  • Matching card: an eShop card for the same region, for example a European card for an account in a European country.
  • Be careful: Nintendo doesn't offer Kosovo as an account country.

Riot Games (League of Legends, VALORANT)

  • Where to look: League of Legends players pick a region or server (for example EUNE or EUW) when they create the account; it is shown in the game client and in the Riot account settings.
  • Matching card: RP cards (League of Legends) and VP cards (VALORANT) are separate, and each is locked to the region or server it was sold for. Check the product name.
  • Be careful: Riot prepaid cards are redeemed only in the game client, not on the website.

Roblox

  • Where to look: Roblox accounts are usually not tied to a country for redeeming gift cards.
  • Matching card: Roblox gift cards work worldwide and convert to your local currency. The product page says whether a card has a restriction.
  • Be careful: redeem Roblox cards in a web browser, at roblox.com/redeem.

Battle.net (Blizzard)

  • Where to look: sign in to your Battle.net account in a browser and open Account Details; the Country of Residence is shown there and sets the Shop currency.
  • Matching card: a Battle.net Balance code must match the Shop currency, which follows the country of residence.

Razer Gold

  • Where to look: sign in to your Razer account and check the country in your profile.
  • Matching card: a Razer Gold PIN reloads only a wallet of the region it was bought for. The product page shows the card's region.

PUBG Mobile (UC)

  • Where to look: UC is added to the game account through your Player ID. The Player ID is shown in your in-game profile.
  • Matching card: choose the variant the product page lists for your game region. Check the Player ID before you confirm the redemption.

If the region doesn't match

Don't buy the card. A code that doesn't match the account can't be redeemed, and once it has been shown it can't be returned.

  1. Check the account's region again on the platform, not from memory.
  2. Compare it with the variant on the product page. If another variant has the right region, choose that one.
  3. If no variant fits, write to us before you buy: contact support. Tell us the platform and your account's region and we will tell you whether we have the right card.
Never send us your account password. To help with a purchase we need only the platform and the region.

Game keys and subscriptions

Game keys and subscriptions (for example Xbox Game Pass) follow the same rule. The product page shows the activation region and, where there are any, the countries where the key doesn't activate. A key can be restricted by country, not only by store region. For what to do after you buy, see how to redeem a game key.
